Isabel Sofia Sousa Brito

Isabel Sofia Brito is a professor in the area of computer science at the Polytechnic Institute of Beja (ESTIG / IPBeja) and member of the research center UNINOVA CTS - Center for Technologies and Systems .

Her research interests are related to requirements engineering and multi-objective / attribute approaches, sustainability engineering / sustainable software, NoSQL and Big Data. She has collaborated on international and national research projects (eg Naming the Pain in Requirements Engineering (NaPiRE), DECIdE: Multicriteria Decision Support Platform in Water Infrastructure Heritage Management) and she coordinated project “SRTT Incubator - Regional Technology Transfer System (SRTT - SAPCTIEBT)”).

She is, or has been, a member of the Program Committee for the international conferences CIbSE, WER, ACM SAC-RE, ACM ICT for Sustainability (ICT4S'20), and IEEE RE'19, among others. She is or was involved as organizer of international conferences (e.g., CIbSE19, WER20, UML04, RE17) and several national and regional ones.
